SEMANTICS
Semantics is the study of linguistics meaning of
morphomes,words,phrases,and sentence.
There are three subfield of semantics:
1)Lexical semantics
Lexical semantics is concerned with the meaning of
words,and the meaning about relationships among words.
2)Phrasal and sentential semantics
Is concerned with the meaning of syntactic units larger
than the word.
3)Pragmatics
Is the study of how context and situation affect meaning.
MEANING
Conceptual
meaning; conseptual meaning covers those basic,essential component meaning
that are convoyed by the literal use of word.
Associative
meaning; is the type of meaning that people might connect with the use of
words.
TRUTH-CONDITIONAL
SEMANTICS
Truth-conditioanal
semantics is a theory of meaning that takes semantics knowledge of knowing
when sentence true or false as basic.it is the study of conditions under which
a statement can be judged true or false.It is also called compositional semantics because it calculates the truth value of
sentence by composing, or putting together, the meaning of smaller units.
There are two categories truth condition in semantics:
1)The study of different types of truth embodied in individual sentence.

Synthetic sentence
2)The study of different types of truth relatiaons that
hold between sentence.
